Boss and coworker have a loud ‘introvert bash session’ and trash-talk friends for refusing to play a card game: ‘Tell me you don’t respect boundaries without telling me you don’t respect boundaries’

  • "Well, when I say this was a bash session, I mean it was a bash session."
  • "Conversation between my coworkers and boss, right at my desk, sounded like an introvert bash session."

Boss had just got back from a trip with some friends. They went on a Bourbon Trail, I think it's called?
  • Anyway, they're all literally standing at my desk having this loud a conversation about her trip. Boss starts absolutely trashing two of her friends, that

  • By the way, they had this conversation at my desk. I was actually trying to work, talk to clients on the phone, while this was going on.

  • MamaBearonhercouch We've had a handful of trips with friends and the lack of respect for boundaries is the biggest reason we stopped traveling with one couple. I need my down time. If we've spent all day doing tourist things and talking and being together, by the time supper is over I need to retreat to my room with a book or my tablet.
  • It isn't selfish to need a break. And I don't go on trips because I'm wanting to spend EVERY.WAKING.MINUTE with my friends. I want some time with them and some time for ME.
